Deposit, Payment and Cancellation
All our prices are based on a minimum of a two night stay during peak times. Prices are per night per room based on a two person occupancy and include a full English breakfast.
We require a deposit of £50 per room to secure the booking. If you need to cancel the booking please let us know as soon as possible so that we can refund your booking. You will not be charged for cancelling up to 7 days prior to your arrival. Thereafter we will retain the deposit. However less than 48 hours notice and we will charge one night stay per room. In the event of a no show or booking reduction, the full cost of your booking will be charged. Any extras booked prior to your arrival will also be taken from the card on which your booking was made.
Online booking with secure payment is available using the Book Now feature on our website. We accept debit cards, Visa, MasterCard or electronic transfer of funds for the deposit. Where possible we would prefer payment by debit card.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would make every attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
We regret that we are unable to take guests under the age of 16.
Check In and Checkout Times
Check in 4.00pm until 7.00pm unless otherwise agreed.
Check out 10.30 when the balance of your payment will be due.
We operate a strictly no smoking policy within the house.
We are not licensed to sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. We provide corkscrews, bottle openers, and glasses in all bedrooms as well as a mini fridge to keep items cool.
We welcome one or two well behaved house trained dogs to stay in our Oak Room. The Breakfast Conservatory and the Drawing Room are for our two legged guests only. If you need to wash your dog, there is water, and we can provide a towel in The Portico. If your dog is a messy eater, please feed him or her in The Portico. Please use the poop bags we provide and put them in the bins provided.
Dogs are more than welcome to stretch their legs in the gardens or woods, but please do respect the fact that not all our guests may be dog fans! There is livestock fencing around most of the garden and wood, but it is your responsibility to look after your dog at all times. If your dog has a toilet accident and you are unable to clean it up, please ask us so that we can ensure it is cleaned up appropriately. In the event of a 'holiday exuberance' breakage/damage accident, please let us know so that we can sort out a replacement.
Please note that the gardens have pools, steep slopes and steps and many uneven surfaces. The house is not suitable for those with mobility issues as the bedrooms are on the first floor and there are different levels between bedrooms and ensuite.
Please report any damages or breakages to us as soon as possible. We don't usually charge for minor breakages, however any damage or staining to carpets, soft furnishings, furniture or bed linen may be liable to a cleaning and/or repair charge. If damage and/or breakages cost in excess of £80 to rectify we may send you an invoice for payment.
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
